The meetings started on Saturday with the CBC and COCABA assemblies and finalized Sunday with the CONCENCABA assembly. Some of the topics discussed included:

  • Ratification of competitions calendar and hosting opportunities for the region
  • The Road map to the 2024 Olympics
  • The Continental competitions in the Americas

One of the key objectives and discussions was the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 to be held in Managua, Nicaragua, as well as the continued growth of 3x3 throughout the region and the 3x3 FIBA AmeriCup to be held later this year in Puerto Rico.

President Mr. Borro said, it is inspiring to see the growth of our National Federations in the Caribbean and Centro America. We saw a great evolution since our last assemblies a year ago. I’m excited with the opportunity to keep growing our sport in the Americas and around the world.
