Gold Coast (Australia) - The second part of the FIBA Oceania Webinar series will review the 3x3 Referee - Module 1 and will be presented by Vanessa Devlin.

Devlin has a vast international experience as a 3x3 referee with stints in several FIBA 3x3 Official Competitions, including the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2019.

"I have been an international 3x3 Referee for the last 4-5 years. 3x3 is a completely different game. High energy and a lot more physical it is very exciting to watch and referee," she shared.

The 2019 South Australian Sports Awards, Official of the Year Awardee shared her intent to promote and educate basketball fans on the new discipline that's going to make its debut in the next edition of the Olympics.

"I am feeling pretty good going into the session and hoping to get a positive response from the participants to increase the interest of 3x3 and make it even bigger and help in my own way," Devlin shared.

Devlin also hopes to give a presentation that will give the necessary knowledge to distinguish the more subtle differences between 3x3 and basketball.

"I hope I can provide an understanding of the difference between 3x3 and basketball. I have prepared a presentation and some videos for the webinar and look forward to sharing my knowledge," she shared.

The 3x3 Referee Module - 1 webinar is part of a series of online webinars organized by FIBA in the Gold Coast.
