USA - Hill on Naismith board

SPRINGFIELD (Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame) - Grant Hill didn't reach the playoffs with the Phoenix Suns but the veteran forward is still making headlines after receiving an important role off the court.
 
The seven-time All-Star has been elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's board of governors, the first active player to earn a position.
 
Hill will be among the 22 members of the board with his led by USA Basketball chairman by Jerry Colangelo.
 
Among the responsibilities of the board of governors are the management of the Hall of Fame and the election process.
 
Hill played college basketball at Duke University.
 
FIBA
