The Junior Tall Blacks have lost to Argentina in their second game at the Albert Schweitzer junior men's basketball tournament at Mannheim in Germany.

Although they led after the first quarter and trailed by just six at half time the young New Zealanders

committed 24 turnovers and Argentina went on to win 77-60.

Guard Brook Ruscoe was again the leading scorer with 15 points while Dion Prewster managed 14 and centre Rob Loe 13.

The Junior Tall Blacks wind up pool play tonight against Croatia, who lost 64-102 to Spain after a two-point loss to Argentina in their tournament opener.

Spain beat New Zealand 104-66 in their opening game.
