TOKUSHIMA (FIBA Asia Championship) - "To come back after losing out on the chance for the title and play to win calls for a lot of character," said Jordan coach Mario Palma after his team defeated Qatar 77-67, on Saturday,  to remain race for a top 5 finish.

"I'm proud of the team for leaving behind the disappointment (of not making the semifinals," the Portuguese said. "Obviously the players are heart-broken even now."

"In fact my locker room is like a cemetery despite winning the game," he said.

"I quite empathize with that thought. We were like that only a couple of days ago," said Jordan coach Edward Andrist. "It's really tough playing these games, for classification. It's a real challenge for the coaches to keep their players motivated even to play forget winning," the American said.
