EUROLEAGUE – Navarro a question mark for Barca ahead of Game 3 at TAU

VITORIA (Euroleague) - Barcelona fans are fretting over the fitness of Juan Carlos Navarro ahead of Tuesday's Euroleague Quarter-Final Game 3.

Navarro, who returned to Barcelona this season after spending a year in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies, pulled up lame in practice on Monday with a leg injury.

The guard who has led the team in scoring at almost 15 points per game in the Euroleague has a muscular problem.

Barcelona have not completely ruled the player out of Tuesday’s clash.

TAU Ceramica coach Dusko Ivanovic is confident the Barca talisman will be on the court in Vitoria.

"I think Navarro will play because he has proved his quality and his sacrifice and we have planned this game thinking he would play," Ivanovic said.

Navarro won a silver medal with Spain at last summer's Olympics in Beijing.

Another Barcelona player who is hoping to return to the national side is Fran Vazquez.

The big center was so effective for the club in March that Vazquez has earned the Player of the Month award.
