PR N°12 - Schedule for the 2nd FIBA Diamond Ball for Women announced

GENEVA (FIBA Diamond Ball for Women) - FIBA and the Chinese Basketball Association are happy to announce the composition of groups and the competition schedule for the 2nd FIBA Diamond Ball for Women which will be played in Haining, China, from 2nd to 5th August 2008.

The FIBA Diamond Ball for Women is an invitational tournament played once every four years.

1. COMPOSITION OF GROUPS:

Group A: Australia, China and Mali
Group B: Japan, Russia and USA


2. SCHEDULE:

Please note that all tip-off times will be duly communicated in the weeks to come, as soon as available.

2nd August 2008:

Russia vs. Japan
Mali vs. China


3rd August 2008:

Japan vs. USA
China  vs. Australia


4th August 2008:

Australia vs. Mali
USA vs. Russia


5th August 2008:

A3 vs. B3
A2 vs. B2
A1 vs. B1
