HOUSTON (NBA) - Argentina’s Luis Scola scored 13 points, grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds and handed out four assists as Houston won 103-80 at home over Seattle.

The NBA rookie, whose long-time club in Spain Tau Ceramica booked a place in the Euroleague Final Four earlier in the evening with a home win over Partizan Belgrade, was among five Houston players to reach double figures in points.

The Rockets improved to 53-25 and remained fifth in the Western Conference, a half game clear of Phoenix who upset the Spurs in San Antonio 96-79.

Team USA’s Amare Stoudemire poured in 21 points for the Suns (53-26).

San Antonio fell to 53-25, which leaves Tim Duncan and Co two full games behind New Orleans (55-23), who won 122-90 at Minnesota.

Another Team USA star, Chris Bosh, had a big game for the Toronto Raptors as they won 111-93 over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks.

The Raptors’ Spain international playmaker Jose Calderon came off the bench and had 12 assists to go with his two points.

Toronto (39-39) remained a game behind sixth-top Philadelphia in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, though, as the 76ers (40-38) won 101-94 at home against Detroit.

Washington (41-37) stayed in fifth place with a 109-95 home triumph over Boston.

In other games, Orlando claimed a 115-83 win in the Magic Kingdom over the disappointing Chicago Bulls.
