Lipek and Santana triumph in Nike and Samsung contests

Bucharest UPB's Angel Santana and wildcard dunker from Poland Rafal "Lipek" Lipinski won the Samsung Shoot-Out and the Nike Dunk contest at Sunday's FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final in Miami Beach.

The charismatic Romanian, scored a total of five points, the same as his fellow finalists Derek Griffin (Denver) and Toni Vitali (Split) but finished top for having completed the course in the least time.

Santana, who has been a feature of this year's FIBA 3x3 season competing in three separate events, pocketed a Samsung camera for his efforts.

In the dunk contest, Polish invitees
Rafal "Lipek" Lipinski and Emil Olszewski faced off in the final after overcoming Americans Brandon Werm Lacue and Mickael Villa.

Both produced sumptuous dunks, including for Lipek, an altered version of his now famous Harley dunk from the Istanbul stop of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and a perfect rider.

This time he propelled himself over the Miami Heat entertainment plus cheerleader holding the ball with an outstretched arm, for a reverse jam.

He pocketed a USD 2,000 winners cheque adding to the one he had claimed in Turkey in August.
