Want to be part of the excitement of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 when FIBA’s flagship women’s event hits Sydney, Australia, in September?
Volunteering is one of the best opportunities to get up close to the action, or even behind the scenes and between 21 April and 20 May, you can register your interest to be involved.
Returning to Australian shores for the first time in 27 years, the Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 will feature 12 teams, 144 of the world’s best players and 38 games across 10 action-packed days.
The international sporting event is looking for volunteers who embody our vision and mission:

By volunteering, you’ll be contributing to the success and excitement of a memorable, world-class event. Your unique skills, talents and passion for the game will help bring to life the values of the Women’s Basketball World Cup – integrity, unity, being progressive, being inclusive and being authentic.
There are a number of great volunteer opportunities across 5 operational areas – field of play, media, athlete services, venue operations and special event activities. Upon application, you can choose what operational area you wish to get involved in.
