U16 Men's Games: Saturday 13 August

RADOM (FIBA U16 European Championship 2016) - There’s plenty more action to come on the second day in Radom as the teams battle for momentum to take into Sunday’s rest day.

Four teams will taste their first victory on Saturday, while the opening day winners will face each other, looking to retain their winning momentum.

Watch all of the action live on FIBA's YouTube channel.

Sweden v Italy

Both teams suffered defeats on the opening day with Italy going down by eight against Latvia despite 20 points from Federico Miaschi. Sweden were beaten by 30 by Spain and will need to cut down on their 30 turnovers in order to register their first win.

Estonia v Greece

The 2015 Division B winners had a strong start against Serbia to show they can compete at this level and will take confidence into their clash with Greece, who were beaten by Finland in their opening game.

Croatia v Turkey

Turkey opened their campaign with a 73-49 success against the hosts, Poland, while Croatia held firm against Germany. Eray Akyuz and Luka Samanic were two of the stars from the first day in Radom and will look to propel their respective sides to 2-0 in Group B.

Bosnia and Herzegovina v France

Not the start to their title defence, Bosnia and Herzegovina were hoping for, but they came up against a strong Lithuania outfit. France let an eight-point half-time lead slip to lose their opener and both sides need to put the disappointments behind them.

Poland v Germany

Despite the loud home support in Radom, Poland were unable to start the tournament with victory and will be hoping to pick up a first win against Germany. Their Group B opener resulted in a 54-41 loss and they will aim for a more efficient outing on the offensive end.

Montenegro v Lithuania

Lithuania sent out a statement win on the opening day after beating last year's champions by 50 points, but can expect a sterner test against a Nikola Zizic-led Montenegro side. They had to fight back to earn an opening win against France on Day 1.

Latvia v Spain

14-year-old Usman Garuba was another player to impress on Friday with an impressive efficiency rating of 37 in Spain's 80-50 success against Sweden. Latvia made a strong start to the tournament and the victor will take a big step towards securing top spot in Group A.

Finland v Serbia

Robin Avast poured in 29 points in an opening win for Finland, while Marko Pecarski led Serbia's comeback charge against Estonia to win by 15 with control of Group D up for grabs in the final game of the second day.
