    A strong third quarter set the platform for success with the Finns able to keep Serbia at bay in a 70-61 victory despite 27 points and 16 rebounds from Marko Pecarski.

    Joel Parra led Spain to another win, over Latvia with 19 points as well as 17 boards, while Turkey claimed a 59-53 triumph against Croatia behind Eray Akyuz's 19 points to top Group B.

    Lithuania followed up their crushing Day 1 win by defeating Montenegro 96-72 with Igor Drobnjak raising the bar for tournament-high with 36 points in defeat.

    Poland are still to register a win after falling to Germany, who picked up their first - as did Greece, France and Italy to get themselves up and running.

    Federico Miaschi was the top scorer again for the Italians with 17 points as they comfortably defeated Sweden 89-50.

    The group phase is evenly poised ahead of the rest day with the Round of 16 fixtures confirmed following Monday's results.
