Estonia survive and send defending champions into Division B

RADOM (FIBA U16 European Championship 2016) - Estonia secured the final survival spot in Division A after surging past last year's champions Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After a tied first period, Estonia showed a real desire to preserve their top-flight status and would lead by as many as 32 points before completing an 85-59 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Spain were crowned champions after edging out Lithuania in a thrilling finale as Usman Garuba cemented his status as tournament MVP.

Turkey secured a third-place finish for the second year in a row after seeing off Croatia for a seven-point win in overtime. Eray Akyuz finished with 23 points to secure his side's place on the podium.

There was finally some delight for the hosts in Radom as Poland defeated Greece to claim their first win, and avoid a 16th place finish.
