HERAKLION (Greece) - The fifth day of action at the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2025 in Heraklion is now behind us with the lineup for the Semi-Finals now laid out.
Defending champs France are in the final four after winning a thriller against hosts Greece, and they will be joined by Serbia, Italy and Lithuania whereas Classification 13-16 Games are also set to decide who will stay in the Division A.

Top Performers
As Poland upset Germany 81-69 and pushed them into the battle to avoid relegation, Jakub Szumert had himself quite a game. The power forward tallied 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals for an efficiency of 33 - a late entry at the very top of the Top Performers lineup.
Even though Finland lost to Belgium 79-74 and will have to battle it out to avoid relegation, it wasn't for Aaron Ekwere's lack of trying. The swingman produced 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists, also stealing the ball 3 times for an efficiency of 32, second highest of the day.
In that very same game, the victor's side had their own hero. Belgium's Alexander Raedschelders found his way into the lineup for the second time as he was an assist shy of a triple-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds to add to 9 assists.
Romania is secure with their Division A status after beating Iceland 72-57, mainly thanks to Christian Nitu's big performance. Nitu dominated the paint with 20 points, 16 rebounds and also adding 4 blocked shots to that double-double. In total, his efficiency rating amounted to 27.
Luka Savanovic of Serbia came up with his best game of the event in just the right time; he tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals for an all-around performance in a 76-66 Quarter-Finals win over Spain that saw Serbia enter the battle for the throne.
