Italy v Germany

Germany moved into the Round of 16 with a morale-boosting win over Turkey, but still finished third in their group, while Italy claimed second despite losing twice in Group A. Federico Miaschi is the joint-fourth leading points scorer.

Montenegro v Serbia

A big clash between fierce rivals featuring the top two scorers in the competition. Marko Pecarski desperately needs support, while Montenegro have both Nikola Zizic and Igor Drobnjak in fine form. Serbia won by 14 when the two teams met last year.

Turkey v Latvia

Both teams arrive into the Round of 16 following disappointing losses on Monday. Turkey made a 2-0 start, but were well beaten by Germany to lose top spot, while Latvia suffered a surprise loss against Sweden to drop to third place in Group A.

Lithuania v Estonia

Lithuania have been mightily impressive so far as they swept through their opponents in Group C. A big victory will be targeted against winless Estonia, but the Division A newcomers continue to show heart no matter the scoreline.

Spain v Poland

The tournament hosts went 0-3 in the group phase and things do not get any easier with unbeaten Spain standing in their way of an unlikely place in the Last Eight. Usman Garuba is averaging 15+ points and 12+ rebounds per game.

Greece v France

The tournament did not get off the start they would have wanted, but Greece are building confidence following two straight wins. Joel Ayavi has impressed for France despite the team picking up one victory in Group C.

Finland v Bosnia and Herzegovina

Finland were one of three teams to survive the group phase unbeaten and they now take on last year's defending champions, who are without a win so far. Robin Avist has been the leading threat for the Finns.

Croatia v Sweden

Croatia managed to come out on top in Group B and have been led by one of the tournament standouts, Luka Samanic. As for Sweden, they will be boosted by their first win with Erik Persson oozing with confidence following his game-winning 32-point display.
