Play-Off Round 1 Pairings confirmed

MUNICH (Germany) - The 16 pairings in Play-Off Round 1 of the 2021-22 EuroCup Women season were set on Thursday night, upon the conclusion of Regular Season action.

The 32 teams that advanced include the two top teams in each Regular Season group, as well as the four best-ranked third-placed teams from each of the two conferences.

With 22 teams having already secured a berth in previous days, AZS UMCS Lublin, BCF Elfic Fribourg, Hatayspor, Kangoeroes Basket, KKZ Crvena Zvezda, Lointek Gernika, London Lions, Neve David Ramla, Nika Syktyvkar and Tenerife joined up on Thursday as they claimed the 10 tickets that were still up for grabs going into the final games of the Regular Season.

The qualified teams, which represent 16 different European nations, were ranked according to the Official Basketball Rules, as follows:

The Play-Off Round 1 contenders will match up in home-and-away two-leg ties, with the higher-ranked team playing the return leg at home. The pairings are as follows:

The first leg is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15 and the return fixtures will take place on Wednesday, December 22.

The teams that emerge from Play-Off Round 1will continue in the Round of 16, which will follow the same home-and-away format.

The Round of 16 is set to tip off on January 13, 2022 with the return leg scheduled for January 20, 2022.
