History

EuroCup Women is the second-tier women's club competition in Europe, with teams from right across the continent competing each season.

Since its inception in 2002, there have been 15 different winners, with Dynamo Moscow (2007; 2013; 2014) and Galatasaray (2009; 2018) the only clubs to boast multiple titles.

A number of leading global stars have both graced the competition and been crowned champions, including the likes of Isil Alben, Celine Dumerc, Ann Wauters, Ticha Penicheiro, Maria Stepanova and Cynthia Cooper.

The tournament was born out of a rich history, superseding the European Cup of Cups, subsequently renamed as the Ronchetti Cup in honor of Italian legend and FIBA Hall of Fame member, Liliana Ronchetti.
