Today's FIBA Asia Challenge Games: Saturday 10 September
TEHRAN (FIBA Asia Challenge 2016) - Here are the four games to look forward to on Day 2 of the FIBA Asia Challenge 2016 in Tehran, Iran.
Korea v Thailand
Korea had a great win last night against Japan, and they will surely hope to repeat the feat here against the Thais. Thailand aren’t favored by many to make it to the top eight in this tournament, but they have the talent to maybe spring a surprise if they catch Korea on a bad day.
India v Chinese Taipei
India had a huge win over Philippines last night, and they would want to follow that up with another one against Chinese Taipei tonight. It’ll be tough, though, as the Taipei five finished second in the 2014 FIBA Asia Challenge and are looking to do at least just as well here.
Qatar v Iraq
Qatar were on the receiving end of a shellacking at the hands of Iran last night, and they are looking to bounce back in a big way against Iraq. The Iraqis, meanwhile, haven’t played at this level in a very long time, and they want to make a great first impression
Jordan v Kazakhstan
Sam Daghlas was disappointed with his team’s performance against China last night, and he is hoping they can recover well here against the Kazakhs, who will be sending a very young team. Can the upstart Kazakhs spring an upset?
