MIAMI (United States) – The second window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Americas Qualifiers came to a close with its fourth and final game day. Let’s take a look at the players who delivered the best individual performances of the night: Cast your vote below in the fan poll and let us know who deserves to be named Player of the Day. Argentina’s star duo from Real Madrid Baloncesto, Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck, brought their pedigree and provided the spark the team needed to defeat Panama in Group D and secure a berth in the Second Round. Campazzo orchestrated the offense with a 25-point, 10-assist double-double, while Deck followed with 25 points and 6 rebounds of his own. In Brazil’s victory — which preserved their unbeaten record in Group C — point guard Caio Pacheco also recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists, proving to head coach Aleksandar Petrović that he can be a reliable option on a roster loaded with depth at the guard spots. Meanwhile, Joaquín Rodríguez continued his strong form, just like Uruguay, which remains undefeated in Group D. The shooting guard once again delivered for La Celeste in the win over Cuba, finishing with 19 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Venezuelan big man Elián Centeno had his best outing with the national team. The 25-year-old is working to establish himself in the rotation and took a major step forward in the Group C victory over Chile, posting 13 points (a perfect 5-for-5 on two-point field goals), 8 rebounds, and 1 block.
