PIRAEUS (Greece) - The highly anticipated TISSOT All-Star Five at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 has been revealed and is led by TISSOT MVP, Emma Meesseman of Belgium.
The lineup was made of two players from the champions Belgium as well as two from runners-up Spain, and the sole representative from third-placed Italy.
Emma Meesseman - Belgium
The first ever two-time TISSOT MVP honors was central to Belgium beating Spain 67-65 in an astonishing Final that will never be forgotten. The TCL Player of the Game, it was the last outing of an amazing overall tournamnt which saw Meesseman post an average performance efficiency valuation of 27.7 from 19.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists 2.3 steals and 1.8 blocks per game.
Julie Allemand - Belgium
The Cats' playmaker was at the heart of Belgium's success as always and came up clutch in the astonishing Final win against Spain with a tournament-high 19 points. The guard followed her inclusion in the All-Star Five two years ago with another slot this time around, racking up 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists to play a pivotal role once again.
Cecilia Zandalasini - Italy
The guard led her country to a stunning bronze medal success as they beat France in the Third-Place Game to wrap up their first podium finish since 1995. But Zandalasini was outstanding across the entire tournament, lighting it up with a an average performance efficiency valuation of 19.2 - generated from an excellent 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per outing.
Alba Torrens - Spain
The veteran Spanish legend came so close to adding another title to her collection, but had to settle for successive silver medals after being cruelly pipped by the Cats. Throughout the tournament, Torrens continually rolled back the years to get her team so close to the ultimate glory, averaging 11.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as she sealed consecutive TISSOT All-Star Five slots.
Raquel Carrera - Spain
The forward was on fire in the Quarter-Finals in one of the best performances of the entire tournament with 31 points, and that went a long way to her landing a first All-Star Five berth of her career in the competition. Carrera did great work for Spain in the paint and registered 13.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
