PIRAEUS (Greece) - The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 All-Star Second Team sees five players gaining deserved recognition for their performances and contributions at the event.
Adding to the TISSOT All-Star Five, here are five more talented players who caught the eye across the competition, for their respective teams.
Julie Vanloo - Belgium
Always a big spark for Belgium on any given night, Vanloo is now a double FIBA Women's EuroBasket winner after playing a major role in the Cats clinging on to their title. The guard went to work across all six games and averaged an all-around 9.8 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds per outing.
Sevgi Uzun - Türkiye
There were celebrations for Türkiye as they took a spot at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments. Uzun oozed class throughout and finished with averages of 13.7 points, 4.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game for an efficiency of 14.7.
Valeriane Ayayi - France
Gunning to end the 16-year streak of France without a title to their name, Ayayi did everything she could to change that but despite her contribution, they left Piraeus empty-handed. The winger accumulated a performance efficiency valuation of 14.2 after adding 13.3 points, and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Luisa Geiselsoder - Germany
Without some of their biggest stars in the paint, Geiselsoder showed her own quality by stepping up for Germany with a colossal effort. She showed great leadership and quality to help her side cement fifth place - performance efficiency valuation of 14.7 from from 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 blocks per outing.
Kyara Linskens - Belgium
A late addition to the roster, Linskens proved to be a big factor for the Cats and added another gold to her collection. She was a constant menace under the basket and returned 14.7 points and 7.7 boards per game for a strong efficiency valuation of 19.0 on average.
