Argentina, Venezuela punch their tickets to the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2027

    Both teams secured qualification by winning their Quarter-Final matchups at the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup 2026, joining USA and Canada as the Americas representatives at next year's World Cup.

    IRAPUATO (Mexico) – Argentina and Venezuela secured the final two berths from the Americas for the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2027 after winning their Quarter-Final matchups and advancing to the Semi-Finals of the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup 2026. With their victories on Saturday, Argentina and Venezuela join the United States and Canada as the four representatives from the Americas at next year’s FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup. The four qualified teams will now compete in the Semi-Finals of the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup 2026 on Sunday, with a place in Monday’s Final at stake.
