The Americans defeated Canada in the Final for the sixth consecutive edition, captured their 13th title overall and continued their historic gold medal run.

    IRAPUATO (Mexico) – USA once again captured the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup title, defeating Canada 90-72 in Monday's Final in Irapuato, Mexico. USA captured their 13th title in tournament history, extended their championship streak to 12 and improved to 8-0 against Canada in title games. Canada, meanwhile, collected their eighth silver medal. In the Third-Place Game, Argentina defeated Venezuela 73-49 to capture their seventh bronze medal and fourth consecutive podium finish. Jordyn Palmer (USA) was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. The point guard also headlined the All-Star Five, alongside teammate Kaleena Smith (USA), Savannah Swords (CAN), Sofia Lombardero (ARG) and Astrid Inojosa (VEN).
