IRAPUATO (Mexico) – Jordyn Palmer was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup 2026 after helping lead the United States to their 13th continental title.
In the Final, where the United States defeated Canada, Palmer recorded 24 points, 13 rebounds and 5 steals. Throughout the tournament, the power forward averaged 18.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.2 steals per game, leading the competition in the latter category.

Palmer was joined on the All-Star Five by four players who played key roles for their respective national teams.
Kaleena Smith (United States)
The point guard finished as the tournament’s leading scorer and assist leader, averaging 19.8 points and 6.4 assists per game. She also brought defensive intensity with 2.4 steals per contest, helping her team generate fast-break opportunities.
Savannah Swords (Canada)
Swords was one of Canada's leaders throughout the tournament. She averaged 16.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, leading Canada to the Final and establishing herself as one of the tournament’s most complete players.
Sofia Lombardero (Argentina)
She was the primary offensive weapon for her national team. Lombardero averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, playing a key role in keeping Argentina competitive throughout the tournament.
Astrid Inojosa (Venezuela)
Inojosa stood out for her versatility on both ends of the floor. She finished the tournament averaging 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds. She also tied for the lead in blocks with 1.2 per game, making her one of the most influential players on her team.
