Armenia will house this summer's FIBA U16 EuroBasket, Division C

    All the information ahead of the FIBA U16 EuroBasket, Division C tournament.

    YEREVAN (Armenia) - This summer's FIBA U16 EuroBasket, Division C tournament, will feature eager and determined nations competing to be the best.

    The tournament will occur from July 4-12 in Yerevan, Armenia.

    Who is participating?

    A total of nine teams will compete for the title in Division C. They have been split into two groups: one of four and one of five.

    The Group Phase is as follows:

    Group A: Moldova, San Marino, Albania, Kosovo Group B: Gibraltar, Malta, Andorra, Armenia, Monaco

    What is the schedule?

    The Group Phase will take place across the first four days of the tournament before the Classification games begin. The competition will continue as a bracket, starting with the Quarter-Finals and ending with the Final on July 12.

    The Classification games will also determine each of the nine positions.

    Who were the winners in 2025?

    Luxembourg won their third FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2025, Division C title after defeating Andorra 68-55 in the Final.

    James Russell scored 22 points to lead the way, while Abram Macalou had 18 points and 16 rebounds, and Marvin Delgado collected 12 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners, who bounced straight back to Division B, having been relegated the year before.

    Armenia rolled past hosts Albania 118-78 to grab third place in the event. Edgar Agabekyan hit a mammoth 7 three-pointers for 36 points to go with 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 4 blocks for the victors.

    Former MVPs

    Marvin Delgado claimed the honor of being crowned Most Valuable Player after he helped Luxembourg lift the trophy aloft as champions last summer.

    Delgado collected 12 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals in playing all 40 minutes of Luxembourg's 68-55 win over Andorra in the Final. All told, the shooting guard averaged 16.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 3.8 steals.

    Roll of honor

    Despite settling for silver, Andorra remains the most successful nation for this age group in Division C, with four titles claimed, matched by Cyprus, which last won this tournament in 2023.
