BELGRADE (Serbia) - The second day of action at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2025 featured reigning champions Germany grabbing their first win while Lithiuania prevailed in a marquee match-up with hosts Serbia.
All told, four nations remained unbeaten after two days of games in Belgrade.

Dovydas Buika was doing some of everything for Lithuania in a big 89-81 victory over hosts Serbia in a game that had the feeling of a knockout showdown. Buika not only led Lithuania in scoring with 20 points - including hitting 4 of 5 three-point attempts - but he flirted with a triple-double. The guard grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 9 assists to go with 2 steals for an efficiency of 30.
Meanwhile, Fynn Lastring was a real force inside for Germany in their bounce-back 77-56 win over Israel. The big man scored 19 points and also grabbed 16 rebounds - four of them from the offensive glass. Lastring also chipped in 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block with just 1 turnover in 35 minutes. That gave the center an efficiency of 30.
Jayden Hodge exploded for Belgium in an important first victory of the tournament, an 88-73 win against Latvia. The USA-based forward scored 29 points including making 9 of 14 free throws while also grabbing 9 rebounds. Hodge added 1 assist, 5 steals and 1 block for an effiency of 28.
Jaroslavs Pihtovs did all he could at the other end of the Belgian win with a big performance in Latvia's 88-73 loss. The big man scored 12 points while also contributing 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks. All that produced an efficiency of 27.
Cheick-Oumar Fadiga had a superb all-around game in Sweden's nailbiter 85-83 win over Austria. The guard was held to 8 points and 2 assists in Sweden's opening loss to France. But he bounced back for 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists while also swiping 2 steals for an efficiency of 26.
