    MUNICH (Germany) - There was an array of terrific individual displays during Week 5 of the EuroLeague Women First Round as some of the competition's leading lights went to work for their respective teams.

    Julie Allemand was outstanding for the still unbeaten Fenerbahce Opet. She accumulated the highest performance efficiency valuation of the week at 33 after coming close to a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in a brilliant 71-49 win against Valencia Basket Club.

    Tango Bourges Basket secured their place by striding past VBW Gdynia 83-62 thanks mainly to the deadly shooting effort of Alix Duchet. The guard scrored from 7 of 8 attempts and ended up netting 18 points - also adding 4 assists and 2 rebounds.

    Reyer, Landes secure Second Round spots as five teams advance

    There was joy for Beretta Famila Schio too as they outlasted Sopron 84-69 to reach the next stage. Jessica Shepard was the main architect as the frontcourt ace recorded a classy double-double of 22 points and 10 boards.

    Laeticia Amihere showed her quality at both ends of the court for the perfect 5-0 Spar Girona as they slipped past ZVVZ USK Praha 83-78. She stepped off court having completed a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds - as well as blocking 4 shots.

    Finally, Kathryn Westbeld was instrumental in DVTK HUNTHERM completing their first win of the season as they completed an impressive 87-63 triumph against Olympiacos SFP. She led her team with a standout contribution of 26 points and 9 rebounds.
