MUNICH (Germany) - Five more clubs booked their respective places in the EuroLeague Women Second Round on Tuesday night as Basket Landes, Umana Reyer Venezia, Beretta Famila Schio and Tango Bourges Basket all recorded victories to advance.
Meanwhile, ZVVZ USK Praha also progressed due to results going in their favor, but were unable to follow it up with a victory of their own as they went down in a nail-biter to Spar Girona.
Elsewhere, Julie Allemand put on a show for Fenerbahce Opet to help them stay flawless, while city rivals Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring matched the feat by also getting a fourth win in as many games. On Wednesday night, DVTK HUNTHERM belatedy celebrated a first win of the campaign.

Griona win thriller; DVTK HUNTHERM boost hopes with first win
Spar Girona are yet to taste defeat and maintained their perfect record by beating holders ZVVZ USK Praha 83-78 in an exciting matchup. It was Canadian Laeticia Amihere who came alive with a brilliant double-double.
She recorded 18 points and 10 boards, as well as 4 blocks. Juste Jocyte also did the business for the home side with 23 points.
It was fifth time lucky for DVTK HUNTHERM as they claimed a precious 87-63 win against Olympiacos SFP to get off the mark. Kathryn Westbeld produced her best EuroLeague Women display to inspire victory.
She claimed 26 points and 9 rebounds, while teammate Bella Smuda was in top gear with 18 points after going 7 of 7 from the floor.
Five more clubs extend their season and title dreams
A brilliant third period for Basket Landes snapped their game open against Mersin and provided the foundation for a vibrant 66-55 success. They outscored their opponents 25-11 to take control of the game - much to the delight of another full house.
The home fans showed their appreciation as Julie Wojta led with 12 points and 7 boards, while Leila Lacan also caught the eye with her play.
Umana Reyer Venezia held their nerve for a 68-61 triumph at home to Zaragoza and it was Joyner Holmes who turned up the dial with an excellent 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Nadia Fingall fired 16 points and 9 boards in defeat.
A scorching 25-8 last quarter and big double-double from Jessica Shepard were the main ingredients of a commanding 84-69 win for Schio on the road in Sopron as they jumped to the next phase. Shepard finished with 22 points and 10 boards.
Meanwhile, it was a bitter sweet night for home favorite Jelena Brooks. She finished up on the losing team but netted 20 points and moved into the top 10 of all-time EuroLeague Women scorers.
Bourges made light work of securing safe passage to the next stage as they took down VBW Gdynia 83-62 at Le Prado. Alix Duchet excelled with an near perfect 7 of 8 shooting display as she netted 18 points and handed our 4 assists. Kariata Diaby was also influential and went 8 of 9 en-route to 17 points.
Julie Allemand posted arguably her best ever game in the competition, or at least one of them as she just missed out on a fabulous triple-double as Fenerbahce locked down Valencia 71-49. The Belgian guard showed out with a superb 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the contest. Kayla McBride added 16 alongside her in the backcourt.
Another Istanbul powerhouse Galatasaray are also 4-0 and yet to taste defeat, although they had to work hard to squeeze out Flammes Carolo Basket 77-73. It had to be a strong team effort to finish the job, with five ballers logging double-digit scoring returns, including Dorka Juhasz who had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.
