Allemand handed November MVP honor

    The Belgian guard has been outstanding for Fenerbahce Opet.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Julie Allemand has been crowned EuroLeague Women MVP for November after continuing her rich vein of form to help Fenerbahce Opet move to the Second Round with a perfect 6-0 record.

    The guard takes the accolade thanks to a combination of both fan and expert panel voting, with Allemand one of five standout ballers who where chosen for the November Team of the Month.

    The playmaker averaged an excellent performance efficiency valuation of 29.5 after lighting it up during both of her team's games in the period.

    Allemand netted 12.5 points per game and also did a fantastic job on the galss - especially for her position, by grabbing an average of 9.0 rebounds. Also passing the rock 8.0 times per outing, it was another terrific couple of games for the guard.

    The 29 year-old was outstanding in her team's 71-49 success at home to fellow frontrunners Valencia Basket Club. She recorded her highest performance efficiency valuation of the season at 33 after shooting 5 of 7 from the floor en-route to 14 points and flirting with a triple-double by adding 10 boards and 8 assists.

    The Belgian then signed off by being just as impactful in the 99-47 demolition of Olympiacos SFP, when she made 6 of 7 from the field to bag 11 points. That came alongside a brilliant 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

    Allemand is the second Fenerbahce Opet player to have received the monthly honor this season, following on from teammate Iliana Rupert who won the October crown.
