Rupert crowned MVP for October

    Iliana Rupert has enjoyed a strong start with unbeaten Fenerbahce Opet

    The first individual accolade of the 2025-26 campaign goes to the French center.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Iliana Rupert as been named EuroLeague Women MVP for October after starting the season with some towering performances for the still flawless Fenerbahce Opet.

    The center takes the award thanks to a combination of both fan and expert panel voting, with Rupert one of five standout players selected for the October Team of the Month.

    The French star averaged an impressive performance efficiency valuation of 21.3 after undertaking some great work during her first four outings of the campaign. Rupert recorded a productive and all-action return of 15.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

    The 24 year-old wasted little time in making an impression in the wake of her summer move to the Istanbul giants by registering 16 points and 4 rebounds in a commanding 89-58 road win at DVTK HUNTHERM.

    Rupert was then absolutely pivotal as Fenerbahce came out on top in an epic and entertaining overtime game at Valencia Basket Club. She was the difference-maker in a 75-72 success, dropping a super double-double of 19 points and 12 boards.

    Rupert then racked up 15 points, 7 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals in a one-sided 94-73 victory at home to Olympiacos SFP, before signing off October with a similarly dominant 113-65 victory against DVTK HUNTHERM when she added 10 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
