Rezan caps off Regular Season with Top Performer honors

MUNICH (Germany) - Marija Rezan has been a rock for ZVVZ USK Praha and she saved her best for last, snatching Top Performer honors on the final gameday of the Regular Season.

The Croatian center went 10-of-13 from the field en route to a massive 22-point, 12-rebound double-double and an unmatched efficiency of 31, as the Czech side edged out CCC Polkowice 79-74 to cement the second spot in Group A and enter the Quarter-Finals on a four-game winning streak.

Polkowice's Temi Fagbenle put up a fight under the basket, finishing the contest with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and joining Rezan in the lineup of the week. Despite the defeat, Polkowice still finished fourth in the group to take the last Quarter-Final ticket, profiting from direct competitors Nadezhda slipping in Schio.

Candice Dupree posted the second-best efficiency of 30 in Week 14 action and her performance couldn't have come at a better time, as Sopron Basket extended their winning momentum with a 79-71 triumph at TTT Riga to bag second place in Group B. Dupree led the way with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.

Amel Bouderra and Haley Peters complete the lineup in the backcourt, representing Carolo Basket one last time. The French newcomers bowed out in style, as their dramatic 94-92 overtime win over Fenerbahce lifted them into sixth spot in Group B and into the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals.

Peters finished with a red-hot 28 points as well as 8 rebounds and 2 assists, while Bouderra dished out a EuroLeague Women season-best 14 assists to go with her 18 points, making up for the 8 turnovers blemishing her stat line.
