Will Yakin Dogu Universitesi or Fenerbahce prove themselves as the best EuroLeague Women side in Istanbul?

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) – It's the penultimate week of the EuroLeague Women Regular Season, with more hopes and dreams ready to be made and broken.

One of the main focuses this week will be seeing who gets bragging rights of being the top Regular Season side from Istanbul, as Fenerbahce and Yakin Dogu Universitesi fight it out for top spot in Group B in our Game of the Week.

Can Yakin Dogu Universitesi do the double over their city rivals and secure the top position, utilizing many former Fenerbahce stars to complete that mission with the likes of Sandrine Gruda, Quanitra Hollingsworth, Olcay Cakir and Jantel Lavender?

Having made changes with the additions of Giorgia Sottana and Lynetta Kizer, Fenerbahce are facing the prospect of three defeats in a row after losing against Avenida last week and then Mersin in the Turkish League - can they avoid that outcome?

Here is just a selection of some of the other big questions which will be answered this week:

What impact will Maya Moore have on her debut for UMMC and can Miguel Mendez get off to a winning start in EuroLeague Women as new head coach of the Russian side?

Or, will his former team Famila Schio deny him and especially with the welcome return of Cecilia Zadalasini - another Minnesota Lynx title winner?

Will Perfumerias Avenida harness the double thrill of last week's last-gasp win against Fenerbahce and subsequent Copa De La Reina success to drive them past Nadezhda and in sight of a possible Quarter-Finals slot?

Will three-time Copa MVP Angelica Robinson haunt her former club as the Russians eye up a jump to EuroCup Women?

Wisla CANPACK are also in the hunt for EuroCup Women and step out at BLMA who are imploding - can the Polish visitors also bounce back from their crushing domestic Cup Final loss to Artego Bydgoszcz?

Castors Braine have added Dita Rozenberga to their ranks after an injury to Olesia Malashenko, so will she suit up and influence her new team when they head to CCC Polkowice? Their dreams of EuroCup Women are in the balance - will a road win help get the job done?

They were celebrating making the post-season with their win last week, but Sopron Basket still have business to take care of against ZVVZ USK Prague.

That is because home advantage in the Quarter-Finals is still on the line and so can they move towards that number 2 spot in Group A?
