Bourges advance to last eight as Avenida's hopes fade

BOURGES (EuroLeagueWomen) - Bourges became the latest side to book their place in the Quarter-Finals with a 64-60 home win against ESBVA-LM.

They completed a remarkable turnaround from a 1-5 start in Group A with four players in double figures to lead a balanced attack from Bourges.

They trailed 30-34 at half-time before an improved display in the second half helped to get their seventh win of the Regular Season.

The fate of ZVVZ USK Praha is still in their hands, although they were beaten 61-77 by Sopron Basket as the visitors locked down second spot for home advantage in the next round.

Yvonne Turner scored 20 points to lead Sopron to a 9-4 record, while Prague dropped to 7-6 with their next round status undecided.

Galatasaray's top four hopes remain alive despite suffering a 67-92 loss at home to Dynamo Kursk with the defending champions continuing their run, but the Istanbul side need results to go their way next week.
