Social media roundup: FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 camps in full swing

MUNICH (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) - With less than a month remaining until the start of FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017, players from the 16 participating nations have been coming together to start their preparations.

Russia have had some great fun alongside the hard work and have spent some time in the former Winter Olympics host city of Sochi where they put together a fantastic highlights video of the experience.

While Russia are being tipped for a medal, reigning champions Serbia would love to get back on the podium again. Although they will be without the naturalized Danielle Page who has not won her fitness race. Serbia will also miss her singing of her adopted anthem and she will certainly miss her teammates.

Ukraine are also being tipped for their best-ever finish at the event and they have been looking confident and relaxed, with Taisiia Udodenko doing a great job on giving us an insight.

Laia Palau of Spain will be top of the list at The Final Round in terms of who is being viewed through the various camera lens as she gets ready to retire. It promises to be emotional, so watching her last ever prep camp is fascinating.

Family again!!💃🏻🤹‍♀️

Belarus are hoping their big guns will arrive and there is a chance for the next generation to stake their claim when they host a preparation tournament next week.

This cool retro-style poster to promote the tournament caught our eye and it will be interesting to see how Belarus do, with some people predicting their demise after a decade of success.

Meanwhile there has been a varied and eventful program of preparation for Slovenia's hopefuls which has included being 'models' for the day.

We have to give top marks to Tina Trebec for those socks and certainly something that may have also went down well with soccer heavyweights Juventus, who met with the Italian squad.

Finally, some people think being an athlete can be boring outside of the actual action, with a lot of downtime.
