Italy women's team rubs shoulders with soccer giants, Juventus
ROME (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) - The Italian national women's basketball team on Monday rubbed shoulders with soccer royalty before both sides continued training for their major upcoming clashes.
On Wednesday, Juventus go into battle seeking to win the first part of what could be a famous treble, as they take on Lazio in the Coppa Italia Final. This coming weekend they have the opportunity to also seal the Serie A, where they currently sit four points clear of rivals Roma with two match days remaining. Should they triumph in both of these clashes, the final leg of the treble can be sealed on June 3 in Cardiff, when they go up against Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

The Italian women's team, meanwhile, is currently in camp preparing for FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017, with their campaign tipping off against Belarus on June 16 in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. They are aiming to return to the podium for the first time since 1995 when they finished runners-up.
