Day Two serves wonders at FIBA Africa Women's Champions Cup 2018

MAPUTO (FIBA Africa Women's Champions Cup 2018) - Sundays well spent are those inside a basketball arena watching games and today was exactly one like that in the Mozambican capital at the Maxaquene Stadium.

From the FIBA Africa Women's Champions Cup, we have selected our top five plays for the day. Take a look and let us know which one was your favourite. Enjoy.

1. ITALEE LUCAS (INTERCLUBE)

Of no-look passes in the paint and a made basket eventually, this is the kind of stuff we live for. Whoa! Look at that. Beautiful, magnificent pass from Lucas. She likes these a lot, doesn't she?

2. GINETTE MFUTILA (FIRST BANK)

The most in-form Congolese female player on the continent currently is letting her work do the talking. A game high 21 points and 13 rebounds for the double double has already got fans talking and she has promised to maintain this throughout.

 3. AMANDA THOMPSON (INTERCLUBE)

An impressive 12 rebounds and eight points earned American import Thompson the best efficiency in this game and a commendable job with a high five from the technical bench.

4. JAMILA NANSIKOMBI (KPA)

So far with a combined 53 points from two games, Zama as she is commonly known in Uganda, is the highest scoring player at the tournament. Even though her side KPA lost to First Bank 95-71, she started slowly and found her scoring mojo to drop an impressive game high 27 points.

5. ZITA DELMA (FERROVIARIO DE MAPUTO)

The beauty about basketball is that when a skilled player executes simple basics of the hoops game, it comes off like an extraordinary play and this is one of them!
