Spain set title showdown with Lithuania

RADOM (FIBA U16 European Championship 2016) - The two form sides of the tournament will go head-to-head in Saturday's finale after winning their respective Semi-Finals.

Lithuania confirmed their return to the Final with a 67-59 triumph against Croatia, despite 20 points and 14 rebounds from Luka Samanic.

Spain followed and eventually broke away from Turkey with an early surge in the fourth that paved the way for a 75-70 success with 20 points coming from Joel Parra.

Last year's champions, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Estonia kept alive their hopes of survival after picking up their first wins of the tournament.

Estonia's six-point victory sends Greece down to Division B in 2017, where they will be joined by Poland after the hosts fell to an even closer defeat as Amar Tignaj inspired Bosnia and Herzegovina with 27 points.

Marko Pecarski continues to put up big numbers for Serbia and finished with 30 points and 27 rebounds in an 82-81 overtime triumph over Latvia.

Meanwhile, France and Finland bounced back from Quarter-Final defeats as they secured top-six finishes ahead of their clash tomorrow.
