ZARAGOZA (Spain) - Still tied as the joint-record holder of a sensational six EuroLeague Women crowns, Emma Meesseman is just two victories away from winning the most silverware in the modern era of the competition.
The Fenerbahce standout heads to this year's edition of the Final Six in Zaragoza knowing that a win in Friday's Semi-Final and then in Sunday's showpiece game would see her ease ahead as the outright titles leader.
However, last year's surprise Final Six failure for Fenerbahce means that the Belgian will be taking nothing for granted - even if the Turkish juggernauts are once again huge favorites to finish top of the pile.
Meesseman currently shares pole position in the chart with three other players - most notably the legendary Diana Taurasi and Alba Torrens - as well as Natalia Vieru.
The first four titles for Meesseman all came for Russian powerhouse UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021.
She then helped Fenerbahce to make history with their maiden title in 2022 - one they would proceed to successfully defend a year later to make it number six for the Belgian.
You also have the opportunity to let us know in the fan poll above if you think she will set the record, or come up short?
