    PIRAEUS (Germany) - Seven of the eight spots reserved for European nations in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments have been claimed, with just one more ticket remaining.

    Belgium, France, Italy and Spain became the latest teams to secure qualification by reaching the Semi-Finals of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 and joining the previously qualified hosts Germany and Pre-Qualifying Tournament winners, Czechia and Hungary.

    With the five highest-placed teams from Women's EuroBasket advancing, the last berth will be decided between Lithuania and Türkiye, who are on opposite ends of the Classification Games 5-8 bracket.

    Their respective opponents, Czechia and Germany are already qualified for the World Cup Qualifying Tournaments, meaning the higher-placed team between Lithuania and Türkiye will qualify.

    Lithuania vs Czechia - 10:45 CET Türkiye vs Germany - 13:30 CET

    • Lithuania would qualify for the World Cup Qualifying Tournaments if they beat Czechia and Türkiye lose to Germany;

    • Türkiye would qualify for the World Cup Qualifying Tournaments if they beat Germany and Lithuania lose to Czechia;

    Sunday, June 29

    • If Lithuania and Türkiye both win or both lose, the winner of the game between Lithuania and Türkiye on Sunday would qualify for the World Cup Qualifying Tournaments.
