MIES (Switzerland) - Window 3 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers delivered plenty of drama on the court, but it was also a historic few days for the record books.

For the history books
Window 3 was about much more than qualification scenarios and dramatic finishes. It was also a celebration of offensive basketball at its very best.
Australia shot the lights out, and Ali Mezher became one of the greatest playmakers in Asian Qualifiers history. For their part, New Zealand delivered one of the most complete team performances the Qualifiers has ever seen.
If the First Round was any indication, the record books may need to make even more room when the Second Round tips off later in August.
