IRAPUATO (Mexico) – After two game days at the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup 2026, all eight participating teams remain in contention for a place at next year's FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup. The United States, Canada, and Venezuela are the only unbeaten teams so far, but Argentina, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Paraguay still have plenty to say before the knockout bracket is finalized. The final day of the Group Phase will be crucial in determining which teams advance directly to the Semi-Finals and qualify for the World Cup, and which sides will have to take the more challenging route through the Quarter-Finals.
