Trepca's Desmond Cambridge drilled a spectacular go-ahead triple with 29 seconds on the clock

Kosovo is just two games away from getting a team into the BCL Regular Season for the first time, after BC Trepca edged out Keravnos thanks to Desmond Cambridge's last-minute heroics. Meanwhile Patrioti Levice cruised to victory in the other Tournament 2 Quarter-Final.

ANTALYA (Turkiye) - The Semi-Finals are set in Tournament 2 of the Basketball Champions League 2024-25 Qualifiers, as BC Trepca will face ERA Nymburk, while Kalev/Cramo play Patrioti Levice in the other pairing.

The Kosovar champions knew they would have a tough assignment against Keravnos in the Quarter-Finals, and the game went down to the wire. A total of six lead changes happened in the final four minutes, including the game-deciding one.

With just under a minute to play, Keravnos were up by two with possession, only for Desmond Cambridge's big steal to give Trepca a chance to regain the lead.

They drained the shot clock, and found themselves in need of a desperation three, with Cambridge getting a hold of the ball on the right wing. His off balance turnaround jumper from beyond the arc went in, giving the team from Kosovo an 80-79 lead with 30 seconds to play.

Trepca held on for a memorable 82-79 win, with Cambridge leading all scorers with 22 points. They've eliminated a team with previous Regular Season experience in Keravnos but now they will take on a true BCL juggernaut in two-time Quarter-Finalist ERA Nymburk.

The other matchup in Tournament 2 will see Kalev/Cramo go up against Patrioti Levice. The five-time Slovak champions had no issues with Kutaisi 2010 from Georgia in the Quarter-Finals, defeating them 111-87.

Ty Nichols went off for 29 points, 6 assists, 5 steals and 4 rebounds, Stephon Jelks scored 15, while Karl Gamble drew "Levice! Levice!" chants from the stands with his dunks to get to 16 points and 12 rebounds.

The Semi-Finals will be played at the Gloria Sports Arena on Friday.
