    ZARAGOZA (Spain) - With two Semi-Finals in store pitching Spanish and Turkish clubs, the EuroLeague Women legacy of each country is already being strengthened.

    Turkish clubs have reached the Semi-Finals on 14 previous occasions previously, represented by four different teams, while five Spanish clubs have combined for 11 appearances at this stage of the competition in the past.

    Friday frenzy: Who will book their place in the Final?

    These appearances have resulted in three titles for clubs from Türkiye, including Fenerbahce Opet and Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring, and two for Spanish teams.

    This year’s Spanish representatives, Casademont Zaragoza and Spar Girona, are both set to make their Semi-Final debuts.

    One of the two countries will also see another title added to the historic collection as they as they continue to chase down the leading nations of the competition.

    Fenerbahce Opet remain red-hot favorites to make it title number four of the modern era for Turkish basketball and they face Spar Girona in Friday's Semi-Finals.

    Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring, meanwhile, will lock horns with Casademont Zaragoza, having been the first Turkish club to win the famous silverware back in 2014.

    Meanwhile if first-timers Girona or Zaragoza fly the flag for Spain, it will end a wait of 14 years since the country's last success.
