ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - The race for the 2027 Qatar World Cup is entering a defining moment. Some of the sixteen African teams could see their World Cup aspirations come to an end, while others will keep theirs alive.
Each team has played three games, and Gameday 4 on July 2, which marks the opening of the third window of the qualifiers, will reshape the entire competition.
Below are the scenarios for Gameday 4 of the African qualifiers.

HOW CAN TEAMS QUALIFY?
South Sudan will qualify for the second round if:
- SSD beat LBA;
- South Sudan cannot be eliminated in the next game day.
Cameroon will qualify for the second round if:
- CMR beat CPV AND SSD beat LBA;
- Cameroon cannot be eliminated in the next gameday.
Cape Verde will qualify for the second round if:
- CPV beat CMR and SSD beat LBA;
- Cape Verde cannot be eliminated in the next gameday.
Libya cannot qualify nor be eliminated in the next game day.

HOW CAN TEAMS QUALIFY?
Côte d’Ivoire will qualify for the second round if:
- CIV beat SEN OR
- SEN beat CIV and COD beat MAD;
- Côte d’Ivoire cannot be eliminated in the next game day.
Senegal will qualify for the second round if:
- SEN beat CIV AND DR CONGO beat MAD;
- Senegal cannot be eliminated in the next gameday
DR Congo will qualify for the second round if:
- DR Congo beat MAD;
- DR Congo cannot be eliminated in the next game day.
Madagascar cannot qualify for the second round on the next game day.
- Madagascar will be eliminated if:
- COD beat MAD AND SEN beat CIV

- RWA beat GUI AND TUN beat NGR;
- Guinea cannot be eliminated in the next gameday.
Tunisia will qualify for the second round if:
- TUN beat NGR;
- Tunisia cannot be eliminated in the next game day.
Nigeria cannot qualify nor be eliminated in the next gameday.
Rwanda cannot qualify nor be eliminated in the next gameday.

HOW CAN TEAMS QUALIFY?
Mali will qualify for the second round if:
- MLI beat EGY OR;
- EGY beat MLI and ANG beat UGA.
- Mali cannot be eliminated in the next gameday.
Angola will qualify for the second round if:
- ANG beat UGA.
- Angola cannot be eliminated in the next gameday.
Egypt cannot qualify nor be eliminated in the next gameday.
Uganda cannot qualify nor be eliminated in the next gameday.
