MVP Race: Who's leading the way into season crunch time?

No doubt these mouth-watering post-season games will further shape who is handed the honor at this year's EuroLeague Women awards and fans are set for a treat in this last decisive phase of the MVP race.

    1. Dorka Juhasz - Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring (+3)

    Center

Average Stats: 17.0 EFF; 13.0 PPG; 7.9 RPG

Maybe a controversial move to number one spot, the Hungarian doesn't have the most spectacular numbers in the race, but they're still eye-catching. Also, there's no denying Galatasaray have had a great campaign with Juhasz at the heart of it. Just a few more steps away from silverware, will the center move up another gear to finish on top?

    2. Emma Meesseman - Fenerbahce Opet (+6)

    Forward

Average Stats: 19.9 EFF; 14.6 PPG; 6.0 RPG; 3.2 APG

If this upwards move feels generous, remember the post-season is often when Meesseman shows why she's one of the best on the planet. Her form has been impressive all year and even more so recently. Now it's season crunch time, that incredible leadership, know-how and clutch will rise up. Is a third MVP award in a row now incoming?

    3. Julie Allemand - Fenerbahce Opet (-2)

    Guard

Average Stats: 17.4 EFF; 6.4 PPG; 7.5 APG; 6.4 RPG

Only moving down to the third podium step of this race because of the work of those above her, there's been no tangible drop off by Allemand. The guard not only leads Fenerbahce in dishing out dimes, but also rebounding. This is epic considering her team's frontcourt options. The class of the Belgian playmaker continues to shine through.

    4. Iliana Rupert - Fenerbahce Opet (-2)

    Center

Average Stats: 19.0 EFF; 15.2 PPG; 6.0 RPG; 2.2 SPG

Rupert also falls downwards due to others turning up the noise and she still has every chance of taking the MVP crown. Her defensive work lately has been impressive - recently snapping up a tournament high 8 steals in the last game. She continues to show so much quality on the floor and will play a big role if Fenerbahce win the 2026 title.

    5. Mariam Coulibaly - Spar Girona (-2)

    Center

Average Stats: 19.3 EFF; 17.7 PPG; 7.2 RPG

Perhaps a harsh drop of a couple of places, it comes after an injury briefly slowed down the work of December's MVP. Now back on the floor, if Spar Girona continue their eye-catching season, then Coulibaly could move back up. Unstoppable under the hoop and still holding the scoring hot hand, she now looks primed to truly catch fire again.

    6. Jessica Shepard - Beretta Famila Schio (-1)

    Center

    Average Stats: 21.8 EFF; 17.0 PPG; 62.7 FG%; 9.0 RPG; 2.5 APG

The centerpeice of Schio's campaign by far, her awesome average performance efficiency valuation is the highest in the tournament and that speaks volumes about her amazing contribution. Her finishing ability is elite, and she's pulling down rebounds for fun. It's only Schio's progress or otherwise that will shape her chances of being MVP.

    7. Awak Kuier - Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring (new)

    Center

Average Stats: 17.2 EFF; 12.4 PPG; 7.4 RPG; 1.7 BPG

The center is arguably having the best season of her career and has been pivotal to a successful EuroLeague Women return for the Istanbul giants. Leading the tournament in blocks, her defensive presence is key, while she's also done the business on the glass and shot the ball nicely. There's been lots to love and there's more to come.

    8. Murjanatu Musa - Basket Landes (new)

    Center

Average Stats: 14.3 EFF; 11.6 PPG; 7.9 RPG

The Cinderella story of Basket Landes has largely been driven by teamwork from the underdogs. But Musa has been at the heart of their historic season. Her towering displays at both ends of the court in the paint have been a fantastic foundation. Will the Nigerian center maintain this epic effort and continue to headline this fairytale run?

    9. Valeriane Ayayi - ZVVZ USK Praha (+1)

    Forward

Average Stats: 16.6 EFF; 15.1 PPG; 5.8 RPG; 4.1 APG

The Praha captain has had a superb individual season and been the consistent factor in a roller-coaster campaign. Her do-it-all approach means that she brings so much to the table for the holders. Her experience and the added value of her leadership is priceless - especially during this post-season period after the team lost Brionna Jones.

    10. Bridget Carleton - ZVVZ USK Praha (new)

    Guard

Average Stats: 14.9 EFF; 13.4 PPG; 3.6 RPG

Sometimes a player finds form at just the right time for their team and that could be the case with the sharp shooting Canadian. Her long-range game certainly supercharged the Play-Ins prospects of Praha when they were in a slump. Very much an 'X-Factor', could Carleton prove to be the difference-maker for the reigning champions?
