    Algeria have some work to relaunch their chances

    SFAX (Tunisia) - Algeria had a rough start to the U18 Women's AfroBasket qualifiers for Zone 1 nations in Sfax, Tunisia.

    They lost their opening game to Tunisia (73-50) and fell to Morocco (65-53) the next day.

    Meanwhile, Morocco extended their winning streak with a 70-48 victory on Friday, July 10, the third day of the competition.
