ZARAGOZA (Spain) - Emma Meesseman has added to her astonishing legacy by becoming the outright leader for the most silverware won in the modern era of EuroLeague Women.
Heading to this year's edition as the co-leader and tied on six titles with Diana Taurasi, Alba Torrens and Natalia Vieru, the Fenerbahce Opet standout made history by becoming the first baller to be crowned a champion seven times.
Meesseman put up 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as Fenerbahce outlasted Turkish rivals Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring 68-52 at the Final Six in Zaragoza.
Her latest winners' medal is her third with Fenerbahce and the third in four years, having also occupied the top podium step in 2023 and 2024.
The first four titles for Meesseman were all won with Russian juggernaut UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021.
