RIGA (Latvia) - Lauri Markkanen became the second Finnish player to reach the milestone of 500 points in FIBA EuroBasket history.
Finland's superstar hit the landmark scoring feat during his side's Semi-Final defeat against Germany with 16 points taking his overall tally to 501.
Markkanen now only trails Timo Lampen - on 621 points - on Finland's all-time scoring list in the competition after surpassing Raimo Lindholm's 489 points to move into second place.
