TAMPERE (Finland) - The legend of Dennis Schroder continues to grow. Already a FIBA Basketball World Cup MVP, and now one of two German players to score 500 points at FIBA EuroBasket.
Germany's point guard supremo passed the scoring milestone points during his side's unbeaten battle against Lithuania on Saturday.
Schroder was already second on Germany's all-time scoring list heading into the tournament - only trailing Dirk Nowitzki, who is among the top-three scorers in the competition's history.
The Sacramento Kings guard was averaging 22.0 points and 5.5 assists per game through the first two outings.
