TIRANA (Albania) - Luxembourg's Sean Bugeja will be remembered for his outstanding performance at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2025, Division C which earned him the Most Valuable Player award.
Bugela was joined on the All-Star Five by Michail Karagiannis from champions Cyprus, Genti Nilo from hosts Albania, Sebastian Hatsakorzian of third-placed Armenia and Moldova's Lucian Dontu.
Sean Bugeja, Luxembourg
Sean Bugeja carried Luxembourg to the Final but his 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals were not enough in a loss to Cyprus in the championship game. He scored 12 of those points in the second half. For the tournament, Bugeja averaged 14.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.4 steals.
Genti Nilo, Albania
Genti Nilo collected 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals for the hosts Albania, who finished fifth. Nilo scored 27 points against Andorra and had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds versus Moldova in the group stage.
Michail Karagiannis, Cyprus
Michail Karagiannis did not play in the Final but he played a major role in getting Cyprus to the big game. He averaged 16.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals in five games.
Sebastian Hatsakorzian - Armenia
Sebastian Hatsakorzian helped Armenia to the final spot on the podium after he poured in 25 points with 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in a win over Andorra in the Third Place Game. Hatsakorzian finished with 21.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.2 blocks.
Lucian Dontu, Moldova
Lucian Dontu was the main player for sixth-placed finishers Moldova with 19.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks.
